Trauma-Informed Therapy

You don't have to carry this alone.

Trauma‑informed care for first responders, adults healing from childhood trauma, and parents recovering from birth trauma, with supportive care for couples and teen girls.

Does This Sound Familiar?

You're doing your best to hold everything together, but something still feels off. Maybe you notice big reactions to everyday situations, feel on edge or shut down, or keep replaying moments you wish you could forget.

You might be a first responder who has learned to stay quiet, even as the job wears you down, call after call. Or you might be an adult who grew up in a less‑than‑ideal home and now sees old patterns showing up in your day-to-day life, no matter how hard you try to move on.

You might feel overwhelmed by parenting or postpartum, confused by "mom rage," or unsure how to talk about a birth that felt frightening, out of control, or just simply didn't go the way you had planned or expected.

If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

Denise Gee, MA, LMFT

Trauma Therapist - Police wife

Vetted & Culturally Competent First Responder Therapist

I’m Denise Gee, MA, LMFT

I’m a trauma therapist and police wife with over a decade of lived experience in the first responder community, as well as a vetted culturally competent first responder therapist.

I work with people who feel overwhelmed by their emotions, weighed down by the past, or disconnected from themselves and the people they love. My style is warm, grounded, steady, and collaborative.

This is a place where you can exhale, feel understood, and move toward healing without judgment or pressure to be fixed or move on.

A grounded space for deeper work

My work centers on helping you understand what’s happening beneath the surface. The places where stress, fear, and past experiences settle and shape how you move through the world.

Together, we slow things down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and create space for healing that feels steady and manageable.

You matter. Your voice matters. You don’t have to do this alone.
